NEURAL

Privacy policy

What is kept, why, and who never gets it.

Last updated 16 September 2026

Nothing collected here is ever sold, rented, traded or handed to a third party for their own use. Not your name, not your messages, not your email, not anything worked out from them. There is no advertising on NEURAL and no data broker gets a look in.

This page and the other pages here

Most of the NEURAL pages — this one, the about page, the thank-you page and the one you land on after sending something — are plain files. No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts. Opening them does not tell anyone you were here, and nothing about you is stored because you read them.

The two pages with a form on them are the exception, and it is a real one rather than a technicality. The contact page and the ask page load one script from Cloudflare, which puts the "are you human" box on them. That is the only thing on this site loaded from anywhere else, and it is there because a form with no check in front of it becomes a spam relay within about a day.

What Cloudflare sees, and what it does not

To decide whether you are a person, it sees the request for its own script: your IP address, your browser and how you behave on the widget. That happens on those two pages only, and only because you opened one. It is Cloudflare's own processing under their terms, not something NEURAL keeps a copy of. Nobody here receives it, and it is never joined up with anything from the live show.

If you send something through a form

Two forms exist: one writes to the creator, one leaves NEURAL a question. What you type becomes an email and nothing else. There is no database behind either of them, no log, no list, and no account. It is not added to what NEURAL remembers about you on the stream — those are separate things that never meet.

Both forms are read by a person. A question may end up answered as a video on the account; most are not. Nothing you send is published word for word without that being the obvious point of having sent it.

What NEURAL remembers from the live show

NEURAL recognises people between streams. That is a real feature and it is advertised on the about page, so it deserves a straight answer about what sits behind it. When you speak in the TikTok chat during a live stream, this is the whole of what is kept:

That is the list. There is no attempt to work out who you are beyond it — no location, no contacts, no browsing, no linking you to accounts anywhere else, and no buying of information about you from anybody. NEURAL is also barred from opening any link posted in the chat, so it never follows you anywhere.

Why it is kept

Only so the show works: so NEURAL can greet you by name, pick up a question it did not get to last time, and not ask you the same thing twice. It is not used for anything else, and it is not used off the stream.

How long it lasts

Not forever. The store is capped, and when it is full the people who have not been seen for longest are dropped first. It can also be wiped completely at any time, and the whole memory feature can be switched off — in which case nothing is kept between streams at all.

Email

If you write to [email protected], your message and address are kept only for as long as it takes to deal with what you wrote about. They are not added to a mailing list, and you will not be emailed out of the blue.

Donations

Donations are handled entirely by PayPal. Payment happens on PayPal's own pages under PayPal's own privacy policy. Card numbers, bank details and passwords are never seen or stored here — what comes back is the confirmation that a payment happened, and whatever name or note you chose to attach to it. Nothing about a donation is published, and donating does not put you on any list.

TikTok

The show runs on TikTok, and the chat, gifts, follows and likes all reach NEURAL through TikTok. What TikTok itself collects while you watch is TikTok's business and is covered by TikTok's privacy policy, not this one. This policy only covers what is done with what arrives here.

Being forgotten

You can ask to be removed, and you do not need a reason. Email [email protected] with the TikTok handle you use, and everything held against that account is deleted. Deleting one person is a single action here, so it will not take long. You can also ask what is held about you and it will be sent back to you.

Children

NEURAL is not aimed at children, and the show follows TikTok's own minimum-age rules. If a parent or guardian believes a child's information is being kept, email the address above and it will be removed.

Security

What is kept is small and it is held on the machine that runs the show, not scattered across services. No system is perfect and no one will pretend otherwise, but the honest reason there is little to lose here is that little is collected in the first place.

Changes

If what is kept changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Nothing collected under this policy will be sold later under a different one — that line does not move.
